01 — Statistics

One page to see everything.

Four numbers and one chart at the top, five tabbed blocks below. Click any row and the whole page filters on it.

Key numbers

Unique visitors, pageviews, average duration and engagement, with the traffic chart, comparable with the previous period.

Sources

Direct, search, social, referring sites, email, AI assistants: every channel counted separately. Plus the sites that mention you and your Google and Bing keywords.

Pages

Top pages, entry pages and exit pages.

Places

Countries and languages. The country is looked up on the fly via DB-IP (France): the IP address is never kept.

Devices

Device type, browser and operating system.

Goals

Your events (sign-up, quote request…) and your sales with their amount. Downloads and outbound links are counted with no extra code.

The technical detail: privacy thresholds and exports

Totals and simple rankings are exact. As soon as two criteria are combined, small numbers are hidden under a threshold — nothing links two visits together. Bots are never mixed into these numbers. CSV export of every block, and of all your data as a ZIP.

02 — Google and Bing

Your Google and Bing keywords, right next to your visitors.

Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position, in the Sources block. Snorklee reads your search statistics and changes nothing on their side; no data about your visitors is sent to Google or Microsoft.

Google Search Console

Sign in with your Google account, read-only: Snorklee only asks for the “webmasters.readonly” permission.

Bing Webmaster Tools

You paste the API key of your Bing account. Same numbers, same screen — most analytics tools only read Google.

03 — AI

What AI systems do on your site, without overstating it.

AI bots read your pages without running JavaScript: classic analytics never sees them. With the WordPress plugin or the server code, Snorklee counts them under the name they declare — 17 families, 29 signatures.

  • Which bot, how many hits, which pages, day after day.
  • The pages an AI assistant opens to answer a question, counted separately.
  • Visitors sent by ChatGPT, Perplexity or another assistant, when the app passes on where they came from: a minimum, never a total.
  • A bot name is a declaration, not a proven identity. Without a server integration, the page says so instead of showing zero.
  • A robots.txt generator to allow or block each bot.

06 — Privacy

No cookies, no banner, no advertising.

A tool that sets cookies only counts the visitors who clicked “Accept”. Snorklee has no banner, so it does not lose those visits.

  • No measurement cookie, nothing stored in your visitors’ browsers, and the raw IP address is never kept.
  • A browser that opts out (GPC or DNT) is never measured.
  • No campaign or advertising data: UTM parameters are not kept.
  • Hosted in Paris (Clever Cloud, ISO 27001:2022). Detailed data is kept for 90 days, aggregated numbers for 25 months.
  • Data processing agreement (DPA) signed online, ZIP export and erasure (GDPR art. 17 and 20).

Do I need a cookie banner?
No. Snorklee sets no cookie to measure your audience, so it needs no banner. Your other tools still need checking.
How do you count visitors without cookies?
With an anonymous marker recalculated every day on our servers. It can neither recognise a person nor follow them from one site to another.
Can Snorklee replace Google Analytics?
For the essentials, yes: visitors, pages, sources, countries, devices, events and sales. But with no campaign or advertising data, by design.
What does Snorklee see that Google Analytics does not?
AI bots, which never trigger classic analytics — with the WordPress plugin or the server code. And visitors arriving from an AI assistant, counted separately when the app passes on where they came from: a minimum, since many apps do not.
